Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GrowEasy™ collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information through its marketing website and related forms.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This policy applies to the GrowEasy™ marketing website at groweasysolutions.ca and its demo and contact experiences. It is designed for transparency under applicable Canadian privacy requirements, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act, while also describing choices available in other jurisdictions.
Information We Collect
GrowEasy collects information that visitors choose to submit through demo and contact forms, such as names, business email addresses, restaurant or organization names, location counts, and messages.
Visitors should not submit sensitive personal information through website forms unless GrowEasy specifically requests it for a clear purpose.
Shopify, Google Analytics 4, and related website services may also process technical and usage information, including IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring pages, page views, interactions, cookie identifiers, and consent preferences.
How We Use Information
GrowEasy uses submitted information to respond to inquiries, schedule and prepare for demos, understand restaurant workflow needs, provide requested communications, maintain business records, protect the website, and improve website content and performance.
GrowEasy limits its use of personal information to identified and reasonable purposes, applicable legal requirements, and purposes for which additional consent is obtained where required.
Google Analytics 4
GrowEasy uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic, page performance, and visitor interactions. GrowEasy’s custom measurement layer is designed not to send names, email addresses, restaurant names, or free-text form messages to Google Analytics.
When analytics is permitted, Google Analytics may process page and interaction data, browser and device information, approximate location, and pseudonymous identifiers. Google states that it uses IP addresses at collection time to determine approximate location and discards them before the data is logged. Review Google’s Analytics data safeguards information for more detail.
Shopify Hosting and Network Intelligence
The GrowEasy marketing website is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes visitor and customer data to provide, secure, and improve its platform. Shopify Network Intelligence is currently enabled for the store. Shopify may process data from interactions with GrowEasy, Shopify, and other Shopify merchants to provide enhanced services, including analytics, product customization, personalization, fraud prevention, and advertising-related services.
Information may be shared with Shopify and other service providers located in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they operate. Information processed outside a visitor’s home jurisdiction may be subject to the laws of those locations. Other Shopify merchants cannot directly access GrowEasy’s store data. Review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for details about Shopify’s processing and privacy rights.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
GrowEasy does not sell personal information for money, does not currently run cross-site behavioural advertising campaigns, and does not intentionally provide contact-form or demo-form content to advertising partners for targeted advertising.
Shopify’s enhanced-services processing is separate. Depending on where a visitor lives, certain Shopify processing may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. Eligible visitors can use the Your Privacy Choices page or a supported Global Privacy Control signal to opt out.
Service Providers
GrowEasy uses service providers to host and secure the website, process form submissions, manage communications, and support analytics. These providers include Shopify and Google Analytics and may include email, infrastructure, security, and professional-service providers as GrowEasy’s operations evolve.
GrowEasy authorizes service providers to process information for defined business purposes and expects appropriate confidentiality and security protections. GrowEasy may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization subject to applicable requirements.
Consent, Cookies, and Privacy Choices
GrowEasy relies on consent where required and on other lawful bases permitted by applicable law. Submitting a form authorizes GrowEasy to use the submitted information to respond to that request. Consent can be withdrawn subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Essential cookies support website security and operation. Where available, visitors can use the “Cookie preferences” footer link to review or change non-essential cookie choices. The Cookie Policy explains these technologies, and the Your Privacy Choices page explains separate data-sharing choices.
Retention and Security
GrowEasy keeps personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, security, or operational requirements. Retention periods vary based on the information and purpose.
GrowEasy applies reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Access, Correction, Complaints, and Contact
Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access to or correction of personal information, request deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy complaint. GrowEasy may need to verify identity and may retain or withhold information where permitted or required by law.
GrowEasy’s Privacy Lead is responsible for privacy questions and requests. Contact the Privacy Lead at saboor@groweasysolutions.ca or through the GrowEasy Contact page. GrowEasy will review and respond in accordance with applicable law. If a concern is not resolved, an individual may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or another privacy regulator with jurisdiction.
GrowEasy may update this policy when practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where required.
